About the QR Code Generator

Generate QR codes that work forever: the code itself contains your data, so there is no redirect service that can expire or track scans. Choose what the code should do (open a website, join a Wi-Fi network, start an email or phone call, or save a contact card) and the generator builds the correct format for you.

Customise the size, quiet-zone margin, foreground and background colours and the error-correction level, then download a PNG for documents or an SVG for crisp printing at any size.

How to use the QR Code Generator

  1. Pick the QR type: text/URL, Wi-Fi, email, phone or contact.
  2. Fill in the details. The QR code updates instantly.
  3. Adjust size, colours and error correction if needed.
  4. Download as PNG or SVG and test it with your phone camera.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static QR codes, so the information is encoded directly in the pattern. They work as long as the content (for example your website) exists.

Which error correction level should I use?

M (15%) is a good default. Use Q or H (25–30%) if the code may get dirty or damaged, or if you plan to place a logo over the centre. Higher levels make the code denser.

Why won't my coloured QR code scan?

Scanners need strong contrast. Keep the foreground dark and the background light; inverted or low-contrast colour combinations often fail.
